Abayas are Islamic outer garments designed to cover a woman’s indoor clothing. They have grown in immense popularity all over the World, especially in the Middle East and South Asia. One morning driving to work, I got stuck behind a slow truck in the fast lane on the freeway. When I got the chance, I passed him, but he sped up to try and prevent me from getting ahead of him. I have a sporty car, so of course I got ahead. I didn’t see the patrol car until it was too late, and he pulled me over and ticketed me.
