In the Costa Rican phone book there are so many companies that provide tourism services.  There are tour operators and hotels and motels and bed and breakfasts and boutique inns and some are in the cities and some are in the Costa Rica Beaches like Jaco beach and Tamarindo beach.  There are scuba diving instructors and excursions and surf instructors and excursions and rental car companies and restaurants that offer international cuisine.  So when you go to invest in Costa Rica real estate it would be best to open a business other than for tourism because there is so much competition.
