I made the stupid mistake of trying to deal with a Lost Passport on my own when I was travelling in Canada. You can’t imagine the frustration I had to deal with as a result of this. I had to wait in line for hours at the Canadian Passport Office in Toronto, after waiting several hours I was told I didn’t have the proper information to file a lost passport, this was frustrating to say the least, so I had to contact a Notary Public which took an hour of my time including travel and he was able to get this taken care of me quickly and this allowed me to rescue my vacation from what seemed destined to be disaster.
