One thing that I love to look at when I go to the store is cards. The main ones that I love to look at are the holiday cards, Halloween is my favorite holiday so I just love it when those cards come out. I think it is neat to buy a couple Halloween cards and give them to my kids right before they get ready to go out trick or treating. It makes them feel good to get a card from me. Plus those cards that are for holidays are so cute and fun they make you want to buy all of them.

I have always had my regular store that I purchase my wines from, however I have just moved to a small town and there is a limited selection of places to buy from. I was talking to a friend about this dilemma and she suggested that I just buy wine online. I was not sure if they would deliver to such a remote area, but sure enough they did. I was very happy to see the courier arrive at my house with a case of wine under his arm. As a thank you for the delivery I gave the courier guy a bottle of Sauvignon Blanc.

I was watching the Little League World Series earlier today and was wondering if the recording of this thing would be appearing on my favorite movie downloads website. As you may or may not know a lot of these sites have other types of multimedia file content loaded onto them. I watched the neighbor down the street trim her shrubs this afternoon. Cracked me up. I don’t know if she’s ever done them before of not, but it certainly didn’t seem like she has. If I’d had a long enough telephoto lens on my camera they would have made a great series of comedy videos. First of all, her cat kept crawling underneath them to see what was going on, so she eventually had to trade in the electric clippers for a set of hand shears. And then she kept losing her balance and tumbling all over the bushes, and they looked like barberry shrubs or something equally thorny.

I should probably have offered to help, but I was cracking up so much that I couldn’t.

My mom is a firm believer that a woman should always look good no matter what the circumstances are, and I grew up having the same principle.  I started wearing make-up when I was fifteen, and from then on, I cannot come out of my room without make-up on my face.  My mom taught me how to use make up, but aside from the tips she gave me, I also studied applying make-up by watching TV shows on fashion, and by looking at magazines, and reading articles the internet. I am now married and have a 6 month-old daughter but I still have the same practice.  When my baby turns fifteen, I will definitely pass my mom’s legacy to her.

When I was browsing online the other day I saw a Santa Claus discussion forum and wanted to read a little on it. I was curious to see what people were writing on this forum and what people believed in these days. A lot of people I read believe in the spirit of Santa Claus. I remember when I was little I used to tell people I saw his sled fly away in the sky and that I could see his footprints in the snow. I loved trying to wake up in the middle of the night and see if I could catch him coming down the chimney.
