When having to write my leadership essay, I had to really put some major thought into what type of leader I am.  Do I lead by example?  Do I lead by force?  Do I lead by nurturing?  I really think it depends on the situation.  When I taught preschool, I was a very nurturing leader.  I should have been a lot more strict looking back.  I should have set more boundaries with both the children and the parents.  And when I was a wedding planner, I was also a caring leader.  I find it hard to be disciplinarian.  So I guess that’s my style!
