Many women panic when they get bacterial vaginosis, or BV. First of all, don’t freak out, you don’t have an infection. All it is, is an imbalance of the bacteria you naturally have in your body. It can’t be passed on to anyone, and you’re not in any grave danger. It can be triggered by changing partners frequently, and once inflammation occurs it can be hard to treat, and reoccurs somewhat frequently. This is due to the medications and prescriptions prescribed by your doctor. If you’ve never had BV before, then you should probably go to the doctor’s to get a check over just in case.
