Since 2006, the Daiwa Viento has been the only baitcaster I dared use to target bass. It was my uncle who introduced me to this really unique tool. I remember laughing hard at his description of the Daiwa Viento twitchin bar. I didn’t realize then how this unique feature which has already been integrated into the unit would improve my odds against netting that elusive fish. I wonder if the sea bass is related to the slipper eel sometimes! I’ve developed a new casting technique because of the Daiwa Viento twitchin bar. Now, I can’t really use that technique with other lesser gear. It’s no surprise I usually show up at fishing meets with just this shiny new tool and nothing else.
