When we are in the car on long trips, the kids and I love to pass the time by making up cute poems and silly rhymes. We usually shout out something we see out the window, then everyone tries to come up with a funny or neat thing to rhyme with it, and we make up as we go along. Not only is it fun and we all like it, but it helps the kids with their language skills as well. Even my two year old gets in on the fun. She even shouts out actual rhymes every now and then.
