I watched the neighbor down the street trim her shrubs this afternoon. Cracked me up. I don’t know if she’s ever done them before of not, but it certainly didn’t seem like she has. If I’d had a long enough telephoto lens on my camera they would have made a great series of comedy videos. First of all, her cat kept crawling underneath them to see what was going on, so she eventually had to trade in the electric clippers for a set of hand shears. And then she kept losing her balance and tumbling all over the bushes, and they looked like barberry shrubs or something equally thorny.
I should probably have offered to help, but I was cracking up so much that I couldn’t.
