A good friend of mine who was recently marries was concerned about some suspicious behavior he was exhibiting and wanted me to look into it for her so she would not get caught in case it was dangerous.  I thanked her for trusting me and putting me at risk; then I began to check criminal record websites to see if he was ever arrested or on any kind of scam list.  I did uncover some unwanted information and gave it to her, but it was not as bad as she had suspected so it did not affect their marriage.  She never even confronted him with it because she didn’t feel it was that important.
